Stray Rules
Steps to take when a dog is found or lost:
- Take the lost/found dog to a local vet to be scanned for a microchip. There is NO CHARGE for scanning.
- When calling to report lost/found dogs, give as much information as possible, ie: location and date found/lost, sex of dog, color of dog, approx. weight, any collar, any tags.
- Give contact name and number.
*** Please do not contact our rescue to take stray dogs. We are an all volunteer, all foster, donation-funded group, and therefore due to concerns about safety within our foster homes along with the lack of a shelter, we cannot help. Our mission is to rescue and rehome animals that have already been temperament tested for safe placement into our foster homes. Please begin by calling your local pounds and shelters and speak to a paid employee who is qualified to help.***
